Courtney joined his first band “Mack ‘N’ Ripp” whilst still at School, he did his first gig at the age of 14 at “The Croft” in Bristol.  After recording a demo CD the band were asked to perform at “The Eye Festival” in Dusseldorf, Germany, they also played at such venues as “The Colston Hall” in Bristol & “The Winter Gardens” in Weston Super Mare. The Band split due to Work commitments. After Leaving School Courtney went on to Study Music at Weston College for two years and achieved a BTEC National Diploma in Music Practice. Whilst at College Courtney joined Weston Super mare band “Sliced Peach” as Lead Guitarist, they toured the U.K Promoting their album which they recorded in America. “Slice Peach also featured the Drummer from the chart band “The Holloways”. As well as “The Number One Show” Courtney also plays with “Beach Boys Inc alongside Andy, Colin & Tim from the show. Courtney is Andy’s eldest Son and was inevitable that Courtney would get into music as he has grown up on 60’s & 70’s music at home listening to Andy’s records. So even though Courtney is only 18, he is no stranger to 60’s & 70’s music.
